Great for upgrading old PCs

I was able to take the motherboard and CPU from an old i7-4770 business PC and build an affordable and efficient small gaming PC for a nephew of my colleague. They both loved it and it wouldn't have worked without this cable. He ended up with an i7-4770, 16GB DDR3, 1TB SATA SSD and a GTX 1660 GPU, which was powerful enough for a 6-year-old kid playing Fortnite with his friends.

Good quality adapter

The power supply in my old Lenovo was in bad shape and I didn't want to pay for an expensive small form factor power supply for my old computer. I bought this adapter to use an 80+450w EVGA box I had on hand and I also moved the system to a cooler master case I had on hand. The adapter works great, I'm happy with this purchase.

Good job Internal power supplies

So I opted for this slightly more expensive one. I'm glad I did. You won't always have the best of expectations based on the picture alone, but this product is well made and is exactly what you would expect from a well made product.

Not for every Lenovo PC

I bought this cable to replace my old one but even though it's for Lenovo it didn't work on my particular PC. Make sure to do your research! I just saw Lenovo and walked away with it not knowing there was more to come. I have a 90BG and ended up having to buy a completely different cable. Apart from the fact that the cable does not fit my car, I have nothing to complain about! The delivery was quick and it was well packaged. I just take it as a loss because it's my own fault for not knowing.

There was a short circuit in the 24 pin connector

Due to a short circuit one of the 5 volt wires has melted. I was lucky the short was on the 24 pin side and not the 14 pin m/b connector. Everything is fine with the computer, the bare wires in the new PSU have burned out and it is unusable.

Dude you have a Dell now get a proper PSU.

The low wattage PSU that came with the refurbished DELL had just about enough power, and by that I mean just a few watts on the plus side of the power required. (280 and needs 275 according to configuration) I wanted to add a decent GPU so I had to increase the power to at least 550W. Issue: The Dell mobile phone uses a small 14-pin PS connector. / 24-pin connector. Solution: Spend a few hours plugging in a standard jack yourself and possibly making a mistake. Or buy this connection adapter…
