🔥 Enhanced Smart Fire Crackler Sound System - CS-FC+ Review

This is a small, lightweight sound device that doesn't cost $33. If you could control it with a small remote like you can control simple candle decorations, it would be worth the price. Many reviews have mentioned the same thing over the past few years, but the manufacturer in China does not read these reviews.

After reading all the mixed reviews I took a chance and bought it. At someone's suggestion, I immediately wrapped two pieces of black electrical tape around the speaker, Velcroed it to the wall behind the fireplace log, and turned it on. Love it, gives my electric fireplace that extra effect I was looking for. I'm so glad I decided to do this. :-) Nice addition.

I bought this in addition to the unheated fireplace I bought for my 8 year old for Christmas. The fireplace I bought is silent so I bought it to hide behind the fireplace, I can even stick it on the fireplace so I don't lose it. It's very small, so it's easy to hide it. The sound of fire is of normal quality. It doesn't quite look like a roaring fire, but it's close enough for its purpose.

The lowest setting is quite loud but I can tune the crackle right in my faux wood stove to muffle the sound a bit and reduce the sharpness of the "cod" to sound more realistic. The device is small and unobtrusive, allowing it to be placed almost anywhere to hear fire sounds, but be aware that the sound itself is a bit harsh. I'm glad I bought it and think it's good for the purpose.

This is the second fireplace I have ordered. The first lasted 3 years and I used it a lot! The last one I used must have been defective as it only lasted about 4-6 weeks. I will contact the manufacturer for a replacement. We'll have to see how it goes. The sound effects are extremely realistic and overall I really like the product. My only gripe is that there are only three volume settings that you select with the push of a button. I would have liked a dial for more precise volume selection…
