These things are amazing! I used to use a DIY cardboard disc to make my kumihimo bracelets, so the dense foam was a great improvement. Even after several bangles, the foam still holds the strings well so I don't lose tension. If you are a beginner, they will help you master the art of making beautiful kumihimo bracelets without worrying about frayed threads or loose weaving.

They are much smaller than you think. Check out my video. They can still be used but I wouldn't recommend beginners starting with this as the gaps/cuts are so close together that it's easy to grab the wrong line as your fingers can't fit in the tiny gaps between the hanging cords . If you know what you're doing and no longer need to plug the cables into the sockets, then everything is fine because there is enough space to route them.

This is a great price if you're just looking for extra discs and platters. They are all much smaller than one would expect; The size is probably listed somewhere so it's most likely my fault they were smaller than I thought. They aren't as durable as the bigger discs and kumihimo plates from the big name brands, but they definitely get the job done. They are ideal for children who are just learning how to weave kumi.
