Easy to use, works great

This plug does exactly what it is supposed to do and the screw is not broken. I've disconnected and reconnected multiple times

Pros
  • Bladed nylon rubber compression plug for sealing pipe ends
Cons
  • Some trouble

Works as advertised

Used for a 2 1/2" plug to plug the overflow hole in an old cast iron tub that was converted into a horse trough so I could have a can supply automatic closing -off valve at the top of the tub. It worked great.

Pros
  • 2 1/2" Commercial Steel Winter Lid
Cons
  • Some imperfections

I screwed up with the connectors

The top end of this 2.5" went right into my PVC pipe and disappeared. I ordered 3" for a 2.5" pipe. was good for 2.5 hole. No But the quality seems good Lots of rubber The wing nut is plastic although this is a little off standard compared to others I've seen

Pros
  • . Satisfaction Guaranteed
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Big size! fits plug

For plugging an old disused drain connection in the basement from the downstairs kitchen. We had to add some soap to put it in the old hole, but after that it expanded perfectly and now we have a surefire way to keep sewer gases from entering our home.

Pros
  • Nylon rubber compression plug with wings for sealing pipe ends
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I screwed up the best with the end caps

The TOP part of this 2.5" went straight into my PVC pipe and disappeared. I used 3" for a 2 "5" pipe backordered. Even my plumber said 2.5 fits fine in a 2.5 hole. No. But quality seems good. Lots of rubber.

Pros
  • The metal part is steel to prevent rust
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Good quality. on plugs

This doesn't quite fit the tube I was trying to plug, but it's the closest size I could find. This is not entirely true. Insert the female ground pipe into the old drain. I think the bottom threaded pipe was originally intended to install a threaded riser against possible backflow, so it's a custom size. But this pipe plug is nicely made and appears to be of good quality. If you have a standard sized pipe you want to use it on, it should fit and do the job.

Pros
  • Satisfaction Guaranteed
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
