Sound and character of the ever popular GM L79 cam with modern power. 1,800-6,200 RPM Operating Range. 229/236 Duration at .050". 112 Degree Lobe Separation Angle. 0.468"/0.462" Valve Lift. K Kits vary in their contents, but generally contain a camshaft, a set of lifters, valve springs, retainers, locks, valve seals, timing set, assembly lubricant, decals and instructions. Check description for more accurate listing of kit contents. Captures the essence of the original 1960's muscle car experience. Combine famous factory cam performance with modern camshaft lobe designs for increased throttle response and excellent sound improvement. Fits Chevrolet GEN 1 Small Blocks including the 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350 and 400. Does not fit LT1/LT4, or factory roller Small Blocks built from 1985 and newer. Made in USA.

Waste of Money in my review

This CAMSHAFT was a complete waste of money. The supposed "performance" it offered was lackluster at best. My automotive technician even stated that it was a poor choice for my vehicle .The only positive aspect of this product is that it shipped quickly..

great powerband

great powerband. Don't forget to install the new transfer case with every new camshaft. has a very small lope but a good tone of the exhaust. I installed mine in my commuter 85 and it gets about 15mpg.
