Thick for centering and marking.

The only real problem with this is the thickness of the center hole and all holes have to be beveled, you can't get a center point on the material you want to mark.

Pros
  • Painting, art supplies
Cons
  • Very expensive

Worked exactly as expected and needs

Negative first. On one side were small imperfections and a scratch as if they had been used before. Another thing is that the mark is engraved on the plastic, so it's pretty light. A little hard to see when placed on a piece of light colored plywood. If they were painted black it would be easier. But despite these drawbacks, it was well laid out, with degree markings around the outer rim (that's the main reason I wanted it). There are concentric circles marked at 1cm intervals to the last…

  • Blueprint

  • Doubtful

great for circles with a diameter of almost 12β€³

Almost all other circle templates have only grown to 10β€³, this one to 11.8β€³. The only downside for some might be that it's only metric, but for me I'm really just trying to max out a piece of wood to turn on a lathe, so I just need to get close enough to draw a circle. The plastic is thick enough to inspire confidence in its durability, but I'll know more after using it for a while. My lathe is just a midi lathe, Laguna 12/16, so I have to make sure the workpieces I put on are the right size…
