The customer service was amazing and willing to replace them even if they really were the right cartridges. NULL Instructions on/in the box or cartridge packaging. Big mistake. Print the supplies status page (press and hold the green button until the lights blink for 5 seconds) after you install a new cartridge. Reported 100% toner but initially light area 1/3 left. Another shake cycle of the cartridge to redistribute the toner corrected the light area. All black now. First use from this manufacturer, so we'll be monitoring performance more closely. I ordered these two packs as they offer the best value for money. Unfortunately the first cartridge that was opened and put in my printer didn't work, after several attempts to print pages nothing came out. I frantically emailed support and was quickly contacted to ask for cartridge information and my shipping address. Actually a bit surprised. Properly packed. The installation guide is about 95% complete. (There are a few small pieces of orange plastic that should be removed and discarded.) Print quality is good, if not excellent. Will check again after reprinting to make sure it doesn't look too dark. But the value of two $33 cartridges compared to one HP $131 cartridge? Put simply, it's just insane!

HP 49A Toner, typically lasts at least 1000 prints or more. Everything is fine until I've done about 50 prints and I'm starting to get low toner levels! There were even prints with a lot of gray, black or background, just type. I hope this was just a mistake, but feel free to add more!
