Plug and play, worked with Home Assistant

These were completely plug and play. They worked straight away with my Home Assistant setup using the HUSBZB Zigbee USB adapter in the Raspberry Pi. The range seems good, I use them in an outbuilding and they connect to other Zigbee nodes in the house at least 12 meters away and through some walls. Like other similar devices I've bought, they appear in HA under the brand name "eWeLink model SA-003-Zigbee”. I've had good luck with this range so far and they are one of the cheapest smart plugs…

Ideal for extending the Zigbee signal. Home Assistant

I use Home Assistant with ZHA and have often had trouble storing devices on the side of the house opposite the Zigbee receiver. These were the cheapest ZigBee jacks I could find to extend the Zigbee network. Setup was easy. I installed them above the room (with two walls between them and the receiver) and so far the network seems much more stable. Pairing Tip: I'm not sure if it made a difference, but I re-paired the disconnected devices without moving them. from where I intended to keep them…

Can't handle 800W

These smart plugs say they can handle up to 1100W, but they don't. I tried an outlet on each of my two window air conditioners. These air conditioners consume about 400 watts in normal operation. The "impulse" when the air conditioning is switched on for the first time can be doubled, but is still only 800 watts. Both plugs held up to the initial surge, but cycling the air conditioner on and off multiple times destroyed both plugs. dead as nails, with no way to connect to a hub, route power, or
