I have flagpole that measures 1.6 as described in the product description.The screws for securing it to the top pf the pole were to short.Went to the hardware store and purchase longer screws and now it work great.It has held in 50 mph + winds. This kit allows me to place a flag or two at half mast which I could not do with my telescoping pole.

The Pulley and the tie down broke in the first week. Had to lower the pole to replace it good hardware. Buy better for your flag.

The ball portion was crushed. It is definitely not a very sturdy item and is made out of very thin metals. all i got was the rope. im not happy about this purchase..

This flag hardware kit worked great to fix our problem. We have a collapsible flagpole that started collapsing on its own. So, we drilled holes through the pole and added some nuts and bullets at each joint locking the pole in raised position. With it locked in position we need a new way to raise the flags and this product was exactly what we needed.It was easy to install, but we did have to replace the screws that affix it to the top of the pole with slightly long screws.

This is a strong and sturdy set of hardware for a flag pole. Afrr I installed it the eagle looks so beautiful sitting on top of it. I suspect i wont need another one for a long time.

Just what was needed. My 18 year old grandson installed the new hardware and the light in minutes. Purchased the kit at a comparable cost to just a rope and freshened my pole. Compatible with light install

We were so excited to install this upgrade and finally be able to put up our flag. We did that the night it came. 3 days later, Ian came through and bent the flagpole in half.
