Peeling paint and chips are immediately noticeable on the legs, right out of the box. The glass top is very pretty and durable but as the legs are strikingly cheap I would not recommend this product where perfection is required.

The product description/tags say it has "adjustable stainless steel feet". That's only half true. The threaded brackets attached to the glass are made of aluminum. It's okay, but the "adjustable" part of the legs is brittle cheap chrome-plated plastic. Really light and weak. The outer tube of the leg is some kind of metal, maybe stainless steel, and the bottom half is the cheapest plastic. like a chrome-lacquered plastic CD case.

I have several variations of these glass tops. I especially liked the jagged edge on this one where I was going to use it. The glass had no defects. The legs have small paint defects that you only notice when assembling. My main criticism here is the logo printing. I could live with the logo printed on glass. but. it's wrong! I just need to put a non-slip coating on the bottom of my monitors so they don't slide on the glass as easily. If you have a Y-base monitor, it won't be wide enough, but long enough.
