I was so excited to get these because I have other sizes like this. It has a hole in the top that closes and opens. The only problem is that it took me a while to put the main top cap on and secure it. At first I thought 4 lids would fit on a given container. You have to press hard to secure it. I need a few more times before it works. Since it opens at the top, I don't have to close the lid tightly. So it wasn't a big deal. Plus, the containers work well and keep food fresh.
