I liked the idea of this product but it turned out to be a lot more difficult to use than I thought. I can see that the concept works, I just haven't been able to use it successfully yet. I'll keep trying - I really think great results are possible if you do your hair really well, or maybe if someone else does your hair for you.

If I could put zero stars, I would. The clear plastic part of the headband fits so tightly that it cannot be covered when it pulls your hair. So you have this ugly see-through headband that looks like a workout headband that pulls hair out of your face. There's no way you can just pin it. This is nothing but a photo. A complete waste of money. Do not buy!

Haven't used it yet seems simple enough. I just wanted to make sure you can see the back of the box because the impossibility is driving me crazy. By the way, 6 parts out of 7 are just hairpins. Maybe I could make it myself, but it's cheap enough to just use.

They last forever and once I've learned how to use them they're pretty reliable. (I'm not saying it doesn't take a little time, but it's definitely worth the result.) I use some bobby pins to hold my hair in place (I have very fine, flyaway hair) and hold it not only does it stay long all day, but and my hair looks amazing pulling it out after wearing the vintage roller all day! I broke a few clear rubber bands (I have a lot of them), but I can still use them with some skill. I recommend this…

I like it! I bought this to help with my vintage hairstyling for an event in the 1950's and I loved it so much I wore it on my normal day. It is really comfortable to wear and very easy to apply. I would say the hardest part is getting the pins in correctly, but once you get the hang of it it's very easy to put it on in just a few minutes. I have very long hair, on the back, and it wasn't difficult for me to put it all into a roll.

This product works well on thick and dark colored hair. However, my hair is fine in texture and light in color. When used on my hair, the dark color of the roller showed through my hair. My hair, although thin, didn't cover the entire surface of the roller either. When applied to my friend's hair (dark and thick) it turned out to be a beautiful vintage roller. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with light or fine hair, but it works really well for thicker, darker hair.
