Decent product that even works with Battery Tender Jr/Plus models. The only problem is that even with O-ring connections, the polarity is reversed. This is for use with a car battery.

I don't know why there are so many positive reviews if not bots or misinformation. If you like reverse SAE ends that are also incompatible with each other, then this is your product. Please look at fig. Red should be protected, Black should be exposed for 4 different items in my house. I just submitted an RMA, saved time and bought the right product.

I needed a longer motorcycle cable. That does not work. Connected to the battery and nada. Bad contact or maybe as some have found reverse polarity. I have never tested this and never will as I expect red to be +ve and black to be GND and I need this convention to set things up. Head back to Revain to find a cable that actually works. Avoid this rubbish.

I've opened the box, it seems to be of decent quality with a good all weather fuse built in. The ring terminals were a bit lighter, but they fit. I didn't even think to check the polarity before connecting it to the battery. The open contact must be grounded (minus). No, that is not so! Red (positive) exposed. Especially on the ring terminal I would expect the recessed pin on the SAE connector to be positive and the open pin to be negative.

As mentioned before they are reverse polarity compared to what you would probably expect (shielded side is an advantage in most cases). But otherwise they work great. I just hooked them up the opposite color and wrapped the shrink tubing over the red/black wires to avoid future confusion and they work great. I bought it because of the price and the dust/waterproof case that came with it. As long as you're okay with switching wire colors, they work great.

This product is designed for use on the feed side, not the feed side. That is, the polarity reverses (red gives a minus and black gives a plus) when you plug the pigtails into a charger or other power source. I blew a fuse on my USB charger before I found out. However, if you connect the battery as a quick disconnect device for a battery holder, charger, etc., the polarity will be correct. Otherwise, the cables are heavy and well constructed. . Good product. Exactly as described and photographed in the ad. Some reviews say "wrong polarity", I believe this is buyer's mistake. This connector has the red wire going to the pin and the black wire going to the output, so this is the correct connector to connect a load or charger.
