Wrong polarity in the power cable terminals
I've opened the box, it seems to be of decent quality with a good all weather fuse built in. The ring terminals were a bit lighter, but they fit. I didn't even think to check the polarity before connecting it to the battery. The open contact must be grounded (minus). No, that is not so! Red (positive) exposed. Especially on the ring terminal I would expect the recessed pin on the SAE connector to be positive and the open pin to be negative.
