I wasn't sure if my 4 year old grandson would like this hat. He tends to either fully accept or reject things. We first tried it on outside on a sunny day so he could appreciate its ability to protect his eyes from the sun. It was an instant success. Next comes the sunglasses!

Our strap broke on first use, I think my son (11) was too big for him, we ended up tearing off the other side so it can still be used for another family as it was tight for my son .

Aqua blue is actually sky blue. I don't like velcro on the bottom, it won't work for an adult. Otherwise the hat is great! Thanks for attention.

I bought two of these hats for my grandmothers who are two and three years old. The fit of each is a little loose (which doesn't bother me because they grow into them), but they can be pulled up a bit with an elastic drawstring at the back of the panel. The hat includes a chin strap and the ends can be twisted under the child's chin once or twice before attaching the ends with Velcro to keep it securely in place. That would be a 5 star rating except a few weeks into the return period closed my sons tie broke off their hat after a gentle wash. I bought these for my kids for our vacation in Florida where I wanted it to be on all the time so it could stand up to the pool, sea and sand. They did a great job, even if they do get wet they are light weight and cool enough too, the kids don't mind, just wring them out and put them back on!
