Conntek 20570 Locking 🔒 Generator Extension: Unmatched Reliability and Security Review

Based on our own experience, we purchased this industrial and scientific extension cord for our job site. Unfortunately, it proved unworthy. Despite its locking mechanism, the connections were far from secure, resulting in power loss and a failed productivity. The only positive aspect was the heavy-duty wiring, but it wasn't enough to make up for the constant interruptions. We regret purchasing this extension cord and do not recommend it for any industrial electrical needs.

Possibly one of the best alternator cables I have ever seen. Designed for outdoor use and stays really flexible even in cold weather. Rated STW means flexibility down to -29 degrees Fahrenheit - perfect for Colorado.

We used this as an extension cord to connect a large APC brand UPS (battery backup system) from a computer server rack to a 30Amp outlet on the wall. The quality of the cable itself seems very good. Good quality connectors, durable to the touch, nice thick cable and jacket. All in all a good value that looks like it will last a long time even if you unplug it, roll it up and use it in the field on a daily basis.
