These are an excellent pair of hiking boots. The bottom rubber is amply thick and supplies traction regardless of the terrain. This pair of boots is not heavy. It feels like well-made boots.Got size 7 for my 13 year old son as he wears size 6.5 shoes. They fit just right with some rooms.He walked in the rain one day and his feet didn’t get wet. Pretty good waterproof. He said the boots are comfortable and cushioning. He has been wearing them to go on a few hiking trips and the boots are still like new.

My husband works in the heat at a landscaping company in Kansas. The ground is uneven and after a major rain the traction is terrible and it can be dangerous and hard on the feet. I used these boots for landscaping and irrigation as they are advertised as waterproof , the boots were very comfortable as I spend 8 to 10 hrs a day in my boots working , my feet stayed dry for almost 2 weeks but now I have to wear plastic bags over my feet to keep them dry , if you look at the attached photo you can see water bubbling out of the front toe , definitely not waterproof , returning these immediately

I love these boots! They help so much with walking on grass, uneven terrain and the rain! They are comfortable like your average pair of sneakers. These are stylish too and kind of resemble High Top basketball shoes.

I used these on a Cruise of many Norwegian ports, and was happy with the fit and performance.we had rain but not that much to test waterproofness. However when we got home I gave them a good cleaning to get the sheep poop off. I filled the boots with water and it defiantly held in the boot, would it hold indefinitely probably not, but I was impressed. I take a 10.5 wide, I purchased a 11 and the fit was good.

Whatever your shoe size is go 1/2 size up. I wear and ordered an 11 and went on an 8 mile hike the weekend after they arrived. Uphill and rocks were manageable but downhill climbs rubbed my toes against the boots so badly I thought my feet were bleeding. The soles of the boots were just ok.

I have had these just a few weeks. All I have done is walk in wet morning grass and they are soaking wet on the inside. NOT WATER PROOF.

So far I have used it about 10 times and like it very much. It is durable and worked well in all kinds of trail. Also it is waterproof as described.

Purchased for Canada fishing trip knowing that I'd be sitting in drenching rains and standing water in a fishing boat. These boots are comfortable and completely waterproof. One of best pair of boots I've owned.

The good news they survived Alta Via1, the bad news they not waterproof. We even not entered the water directly, just pass by grass after heavy rain, my socks got all weat. Pay attention to how hard you lace them, in a first day, it wasn't hard enough and each time I descent my fingers got pressed.

If you want to add more warmth to your feet then get at least 1 0r 1 1/2 size over. The boot is not enough to warm your feet below 30. I wear 9.5 and purchase size 11 because I replace the existing orthotics with a better one which add more comfort as I walk. The product and design is decent not bulky or cheap looking material.

I use them for work, they are light comfortable even after a long day. They would not be ideal for cold weather, but for me they should be OK for hiking also.

Pros. Light weight and.nothing elseCons. Full size small, no cushion in sole, feet hurt after only a few mile hike, NOT high top, top lands at the ankle, directly on them making it uncomfortable. Spend more money and get better quality. These will NOT work for any kind of hiking.

I live in Chicago and we have a lot of rain here. So a pair of waterproof boots is a must-have here. These boots are well made and indeed waterproof (tested in the rain). The size is my usual size and fits well. My little complaint is that the upper is easily wrinkled and the sole is a little bit hard although it is cushioned.
