First off, the colors are adorable, but you can still see through them. The portion sizes are incredible, literally perfect. I've used them in the microwave, fridge, and freezer with no problems. Stacks well together when not in use. You will love it, I promise. I would suggest they are good for teaching kids portion control.

Today I had to throw away another cracked cover. We had it in less than three months and two kids collapsed. I have another signature set that I've been using for a few years, but with a different kid going to school I had to add more. They no longer produce or sell originals. I was hoping they would be close enough to be an add on set but at this rate they would all be broken by the end of the school year.

The size of the containers is suitable for my kitchen. Cleaning is relatively easy by hand, with the exception of the lids, which fit snugly into the container where food needs to be picked up with a fork or knife. Machine cleaning is not a problem. My complaint about the product is the durability. Shortly after the return deadline, one of the bins no longer closed like the bottom of my car and I discovered this 1 day later. Other containers are currently working fine. I would not buy again.

I've been looking for freezer and microwave containers that are decent quality and affordable for a long time. I'm retired and living alone, so cooking for one is a big challenge. I was skeptical because of the cheap price. The lids are only slightly flexible and the bottom is very strong. Received mine today and am very happy with the stackability and apparent strength of the plastic. Haven't used them yet so can't comment on how well they hold up in the freezer and microwave ovens I bought them for. I had concerns about the lids based on other comments, so I tried each lid when I opened the package.
