Description of πŸ–οΈ 2 Black Count Pastel Pencils for Artists in Paris

The exceptional diameter of the Conte a Paris pastel pencil (5 mm) lead gives genuine freedom of creation and has an unrivalled feel. The pastel is perfect pencil companion to soft pastel because its lead is slightly harder with less pigment. It is preferable to Conte soft pastels and crayons when details is required for small and medium sized formats. Country of Origin : France.

Colored pencil in pencils

This pencil is not a real pastel pencil, but a colored pencil. You must use the pencil number to get the correct pastel. Buy from Blix.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good tool for a beginner artist

Made just as I expected. They are more complex than regular pastels and easier to work with. Gives excellent color depth.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Minor problems

Works well with Faber Castell pastel pencils. I think rich, dark.

Intense dark colour. There are some scratchy substances in the graphite, but it hasn't ruined my work yet. Soft enough to easily work on details on an already created background/image. I like her thickness. They go well with the pastel pencils from Faber Castell.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Older model

This was the best I've seen

I have many different brands of pastel pencils and as I tend to use black quickly I just had to replace that colour. It was the best option I could see. This is a good solid pastel pencil and the pastel feels thicker than others. Good feel, great control and they sharpen well too. I will try them out for any future colors that I need to replace in my various sets.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

An essential part of my drawing supplies!

I like working with it! I use them with graphite, mostly on gray colored Strathmore paper for the really dark parts of the drawing and it even covers the graphite quite well (particularly useful on the white version of this product). I also use them separately on pastel and carbon paper. They're too big for a regular pencil sharpener, so I use an X-Acto knife or just some old razor blades and then sharpen the tip with sandpaper. Their heavier weight than charcoal is nice, and they're also…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
