Review on πŸ–οΈ 2 Black Count Pastel Pencils for Artists in Paris by Summer Hendricks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An essential part of my drawing supplies!

I like working with it! I use them with graphite, mostly on gray colored Strathmore paper for the really dark parts of the drawing and it even covers the graphite quite well (particularly useful on the white version of this product). I also use them separately on pastel and carbon paper. They're too big for a regular pencil sharpener, so I use an X-Acto knife or just some old razor blades and then sharpen the tip with sandpaper. Their heavier weight than charcoal is nice, and they're also longer than other pastels I use (like Faber Castell Pitt pastels) so they last longer, which is great. Not too dusty, wash well. I've bunkered a lot, I can't do without them!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

The only type of pastel brand I will ever use. Came fast and works splendidly!
