I love the Contigo tote bottle. After a busy day, there was ice in the bottle! It is convenient to drink from the spout. The lock is safe. It does not leak when properly sealed and is easy to use. The lanyard has a fold down section to attach to the lanyard.

My daughter gave me for my birthday. He sat for a month, went ashore and stayed cold all day in the sun with pieces of ice and water. Bought for my wife for the gym. well worth the money and i'm cheap! BUT after 2 months the plastic sleeve came loose on top and now it's leaking when rolled over. good product bad design!

I bought two of these in November and the rubber seal on one of my spouts was already broken. I only wash them by hand, treat them very gently and have never had anything hot in them. The downside, as far as I can tell, is that they didn't have enough play in the rubber seal for it to close properly. I'd love to help them find a better design, but for now I really recommend staying away from this Contigo model.

Take it on daily walks, holds 20 oz. Easy to drink from a straw. Keeps it cold for an hour, not quite like my funny thermos but cold enough for a walk. I placed the lid on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I will be careful not to create mold with silicone seals. The handle is excellent, the spout works with the button. After about a month of use, I noticed that the spout no longer opens fully, but that doesn't prevent drinking.

I really liked these water bottles at first but like many others after a few months the bottles started to get too slippery. The locking function is stuck and you have to open the spout manually. To make matters worse, as per another reviewer's post, the rubber grommets detach from the spout leaving you wet when you take a sip, or in my son's case, soaking your backpack and all of its contents. I contacted Contigo and asked for some replacement autoseal caps since the autospouts are so awful…

This water bottle keeps cold drinks super cool. I also love the spout lock feature - I toss the bottle in my bag and go. The handle also has a clasp so I sometimes hang the bottle on the strap of my large bag. The only downside to the bottle is that it can get hot on the outside. He was with me on a sightseeing cruise where I sat on the upper deck of the ship. Love my stainless steel water bottle. I prefer the auto spout function as I drink water and don't want to drink through a straw or "suck" out of a bottle. I use it for travel. It will NOT leak as long as the lid is screwed on tight and even has a locking feature so it won't open in your pocket. I actually carry it around in my computer bag with no worries (well, I do and make sure it's properly closed/latched). I haven't experienced any leaks or spills as long as I seal it properly. I've also put it in the dishwasher regularly and haven't seen any chips, scratches or damage, although I suspect you might see some scratches if it's been varnished…
