Description of Continental SportContact 6 295/35 R23 108Y summer
Summer tires Continental SportContact 6 are designed for sports cars. Tires for the front axle in a number of sizes are supplied with a modified tread pattern. The ContiSportContact 6 model significantly improves the handling and steering response of the car, and is much better adapted to the loads at high speeds. The Continental SportContact 6 tire delivers optimum power transmission, a wide range of handling with the highest level of grip on both dry and wet road surfaces.
Black Chili technology provides maximum traction in all directions. Temporary atomic bonds between the tire''s rubber compound and the road surface enhance traction, acting like tiny vacuum suction cups at the nanoscale. The new hybrid adaptive Aralon 350 breaker layer, in which two strands of reinforced aramid are interwoven with one strand of elastic nylon, provides maximum stability at speeds up to 350 km/h. Force Vectoring technology delivers power through the tread pattern. This technology is implemented using various elements of the outer, inner and central tread zones.
Longitudinal ribs located in the center of the tread and the inner shoulder area of the tire provide maximum transmission of lateral forces, significantly improving steering accuracy. Reinforced ribs in the center of the tire and inner shoulder for maximum lateral load resistance. The outer shoulder area contains blocks of three types that are connected into a single work area. Large blocks of the tread (1) are connected with interlocking elements (2) connected to each other with blocks in the second row (3). This allows the blocks to support each other during fast cornering and ensure optimal transmission of lateral forces.
