    Good price, bad product.

Good price, bad product. This is my fourth flat since I bought these tires two months ago and I ride mostly on well maintained city streets with dedicated bike lanes. My advice: spend a little more money and buy better tires. I will definitely NOT buy them again.

    take a good look

You want to take a good look inside and out. There were 2 flats before I found small wires sticking out from the inside. They pulled out easily but required 2 tube changes. I hope it's not a foretaste of things to come. I will update over time. So far they seem like great tires, just check them out before you mount them.

Well under specification - tires advertised as 28mm but only 26mm wide

One star for mis-advertising. You'd think that with the increased demand for wider tires over the last 5 years, a mega company like Continental could get it right. This tire I bought claims to be 700-28mm wide but it is actually a 26mm wide tire which is well under spec. If I wanted 26mm I would have bought 25mm because many tires have slightly larger specs. Most tires are listed correctly or more. See photos above. Very disappointed with Continental and the supplier for not listing this in…

    Switch to 700 x 28 sec!

My first impression after installation was wow. My first impression during and after my first ride was what I was doing and why I switched from 25 to 28. My gearing and shifting was too hard and I couldn't find the right rhythm. I was thinking of going back to the 25th when I caught up with two cyclists at 17mph. Then we move to 21 mph, and then the 28th makes sense. 28ers ride faster, roll over bumps more smoothly, are more stable and less twitchy than 25ers. My second ride was great and now…

    Great tires!: Cycling

Upgrading my old Cannondale R900 and wanted new tires. I've been using Ultra Sports II since 2015 so I thought I'd get them but to my surprise they don't do Sport II anymore. For these III versions, the tread pattern was changed. Honestly, I prefer version II for the profile alone. But these are new versions, why not try it. These tires are among the best, I ended up getting a 28c set. It's still a great set for $55. I don't know about durability but not durability but my old Sports II set had…
