Exactly what I needed.

These clips helped me attach my custom top to my existing base. As a carpenter I would make sure you have the correct drill bit but for installation which makes installation a lot easier.

Pros
  • ✔ Advantage - Countersunk holes on opposite sides enable horizontal screw heads.
Cons
  • Crinkle Pack

Good Heavy Duty Fasteners

I usually fasten table tops with L shaped boards that attach to the table top which allows the wood top to expand and contract. Because I was making a mid-century modern floating-top table with no apron, I needed a way to mount the tabletop discreetly and strongly, while still giving away something when the wood 'breathed'. with temperature and humidity changes. These did their job well.

Pros
  • ✔ Applications - Reduced splitting of wood and strong bonding to wooden structures etc.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The blocks worked well but the dimensions were not as expected.

I was a little surprised when I received these fasteners as all the eights I've used in the past have a 3 /4 inch and at the other end had a 5/8 inch diameter element. . They are 5/8 in diameter on both ends, which was unexpected. Also, the countertop finish was rough, which is only a visual issue. However, in my application they worked well and their performance was just great. Next time I order this type of equipment I will take a closer look at the dimensions and order 3/4" - 5/8" units.

Pros
  • ✔ Installation — Holes and countersunk holes mate with #6 pan head screws.
Cons
  • Some Little Things
