My remote control is broken. 2 days later I have a brand new one and all I had to do was put in the batteries that came with it and start using it.

These remote controls are inherently fragile but cheap. I have several Visio TVs, so I like to have a few spare clickers on hand. If you think you need one, buy two and save yourself the trouble later. They are the same as the originals.

The product works if you convince it. All functions work. On the other hand, the Select button doesn't always reliably move in the right direction. Most of the time it doesn't move at all and you have to press it several times. Sometimes it moves on the first click, but it moves 2 or even 3 selections instead of just one.

Initially the remote control did not work. I fiddled with it for a week, worked for 3 days and then quit. I put new batteries in. I pushed all the buttons to make sure none were stuck. I've turned on the TV many times and it still freezes on the same default screen for streaming. A strange thing is the bottom left corner. The zoom button appears on the TV when held down, but nothing else happens.

I ordered this remote after looking at another Vizio remote and found my model number was missing. The model number is pretty tiny next to the buttons on the back of the TV. My dog ate the original remote and I ordered it hoping it would be as easy to use as advertised and it was! Just insert the batteries and press the power button. Delivery was as expected in 2 days maximum. So glad it worked. I used the app on my phone as a backup but it's not as easy as a remote control.

My original Vizio e50-F2 remote looked rough. The inscriptions faded, and for some reason the reverse side disappeared. I only used the phone app for convenience.
