The first bench I bought had to be returned as the screw holes connecting the legs were blocked with clamps. Return and exchange went smoothly. This product is cute and functional but poorly made. The drilling that the manufacturer did was clearly very bad (pictured). Before assembling I had to pick out the hardened fabric and staples from the screw holes as the legs would not screw in with dirt in the threads (in the photo I recommend a toothpick for this). The item also had a broken piece of plastic (pictured) and a piece of fabric which I'm not sure should have been attached to the inside of the ottoman as it was a different fabric…

This came faster than we expected. It's actually pretty handy for what it is! We bought this to create a place in our doorway/hallway to sit while we put on or take off our shoes. There is a little lip on the other side of our closet that fits perfectly! And we have enough space to put another small table. The memory is deeper than I expected.
