Convenience Concepts Oxford 5 Tier Bookcase Furniture Review

This is my second shelf. The first shelf broke during assembly. My return date ended 3 days ago and it is literally falling apart. I've never seen anything like it. Pay attention to the last photo, the shelf is about 1/2 full. I'm so pissed.

My problem is the assembly. Directions are diagrams which I found confusing. My partially assembled bookshelf has been put on hold for a couple of weeks because I need to take it apart and start over. It'll be great when it's done, but I'm tired of looking for directions.

Nice shelf, looks good in my daughter's bedroom. As others have said, it's difficult to put together, instructions are a joke, but with time and patience, it's doable. It also has a very strong and quite nauseous odor right out of the box. After some time it will disintegrate, but collecting it immediately before the company arrives may not be worth it.

I have collected dozens of pieces of furniture and it was the most tedious and time consuming process. Instructions are confusing, print is small, coating peels and scratches during assembly. I literally cried before I was done. It also has an awful smell - I assume it will dissipate or we'll eventually die from the smoke.

Cute bookshelf and looks great. I bought two to put in my living room. The only problem was this: the instructions say to use screw E to attach the top to the side supports. Unfortunately, these screws, which fit anywhere else on the bookshelf, are about an inch shorter. They should be inserted into the anchor knot and into the tip, but they don't even protrude from the anchor knot. I had to buy 10 extra screws that fit. Also, the cam assemblies are a little wobbly. But overall a good buy.

Nice for the price when everything is finally together. I bought 2 units. The instructions aren't the best, but that didn't bother me. I just realized - this isn't rocket science. These are screws, eccentric bolts and shelves. A hand screwdriver was all I needed. I hit on "Father of the Bride" and they were together before the movie was over and my 2 year old "helped" me. I have had very bad experiences with cheap bookshelves in the past, so I was very skeptical about this product at first. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! This shelf is so durable! The finished bookshelf looks very unusual. Instructions to match the case Impossible. First of all I know others might like that everything is labeled but I personally don't like stickers as they don't come off easily. And the placement of the screws is not hidden. They offer white stickers to hide them, but that just makes them cheap. It also smelled quite bad when I first got it, but it's better now. Plus, the instructions are pretty damn clear.
