I was very skeptical of this product because of its cheap Price but it has really delivered. It works very well the only problemIs I wish the cord was longer socket plug it in and read while it's plugged in

At the price, it’s a good buy if you need this for reading smaller text books. The viewing angle makes it so you really need to be sitting upright with the book and the magnifier flat in front of you. The lights could be a bit brighter but they work really well regardless.

I ordered this for my mom who has poor vision due to cataract surgery. She has a difficult time getting the magnifier to the correct distance and angle to read. The string attached is flimsy, and doesn't help hold the magnifier by itself.

Loved the versatility of this magnifying glass: you can use the string around your neck or use the legs to make it hands free or you can even just fold legs in and hold it on the sides to read anything. I love the large screen and the fact that it has 3X magnification. I would have given it a 5 star if the light was a little brighter but otherwise it’s a great product!

I’m using this product for reading. Everything is as advertised except that it should have a glare shield. It’s almost impossible to use because of the glare on the lens from other lights in the room.

The plastic stand that comes with it works, but I don't read with my eyes at a 90-degree angle to the text I'm reading, so the stand is of no use to me. The magnifier works as advertised and I got what I paid for, but I wouldn't recommend plastic. Three Stars.

Nice having the option for battery or cord, a built in battery that charges would have been a better option, but for $14.99.The lights also could be a little brighter. The screen itself has a little glare because of the swirls in the plastic to stop the glare and so you can’t see scratches. All in all it works well, not sure how much better the more expensive ones are if at all. I think I would spring for a real glass one, but not for another plastic lense.

The plastic viewing area had multiple scratches. Light weight but very fragile.Update: weeks ago the manufacturer said he would refund the cost of this item. Apparently, they were lying. Stay away from this seller

This device surprised me. It was less and yet had much potential. I do use it on occasion but I'm not sure if it was worth the purchase. It's very subjective. It's not a high quality object but it could be useful to the right person the right place. I keep it and occasionally try to use it with limited usefulness. Technically it does what it says. But as a personal low light vision I'm not sure if I would recommend it at this point. Again that's subjective for me.

The magnifier, although large in size, only magnifies the center 2inch diameter of the 'glass'. There is no way to look through and clearly see the text below. It seems to create a blurriness that should not be there. Do not buy. I wish that I could return and not have wasted the money.

I prepare hundreds of tax returns every year, and every year the print on W-2s and other tax documents seems to get smaller and smaller. Eye strain is a given in my line of work.
