I think the great appeal is in having a pair of chucks. I usually wear Skechers and bought these hoping that with the memory foam they would be as comfortable as the other shoes I own, but they are not. Cute, easy to care for, but not suitable for all day wear. More of a homage to fashion.

These new Chuck IIs are very comfortable and lightweight. I don't even know if I can go back to the original because they are heavy and lack padding. The Lunarlon makes a big difference to this shoe and overall it feels like a higher quality shoe.

I prefer the look of the original shoes with the stripe around the sole. The all white outsole + Chuck II cover feels a bit cheap to me. However, once they've ridden a few miles, they look a lot better. Comfort is greatly improved with a Nike sockliner and a more structured upper. I hope they offer more styles in Chuck II format.

Really. I asked for 9.5 and received 7 men. An anti-theft device is also attached to the shoe. I really want 9 in half or my money back please.
