great functionality, no hard drops and ubiquitous 1080p

Very small module, great functionality, no hard drops and ubiquitous 1080p. I spent quite a bit of time installing them in the right position to make them work properly.)

Pros
  • audio and video accessories
Cons
  • functionality

Finally an extension that just works!

After playing around with cheap extension cords for the last 2 years and they failed, I tried conversion technology. Extension cord is the best. I use it to run dedicated Cat 5e cable 95 feet inside walls (via patch panel) and it works with no issues. You can get by with cheap extensions for short distances, but if the length is over 75 feet or so, use this extension and you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works great even with questionable cable

My home was previously set up to send video over CAT5 with component video baluns to two different TVs (one about 100 feet long, the other about 200 feet long). I've tried many different component video baluns (including some high-end models), made significant efforts to ground components on all sides, etc., but have never been able to get a consistently good picture. Somewhere along the way I'm getting interference or I have a questionable CAT5e cable. Well, I finally gave in and bought these…

Pros
  • . The built-in IR extender function allows IR remote control of source devices from a distant viewing location by sending IR commands received in close proximity to the display back to the source devices.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
