Works well when I upgraded my 2013 Mac Pro from its original 256GB SSD to a 2TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro NVMe SSD. The adapter is perfect for this SSD. Numerous speed tests show stable results. Took it for almost 24 hours and got strong. There are no sleeping problems, everything is stable. Running the latest version of macOS Mojave. I highly recommend this upgrade now that NVMe SSD storage prices have come down and become more affordable.

I used this to replace the standard 500GB Apple SSD in my 2013 Macbook Pro with the new 500GB Samsung 970 EVO SSD. After a clean install of Mac OS Mojave and migrating the system from Time Machine, it worked 98% of the time, but sometimes there was a problem waking from sleep. This requires a hard reboot almost once a day. After the last update to macOS Catalina the problem was gone. Now he sleeps and wakes up just as well as before.

Used on a 2015 13" Macbook Pro 500GB WD Black SN750. It works as expected. The only thing I don't like is that it's about 2mm or 1/16" longer, so the d NVME specification plate does not sit flush on the bracket inside the laptop. I took a chance and heated the contacts while it was in the laptop (with a heat gun, meant for soldering), and now it fits perfectly. Do not strongly recommend anyone to do this. If you are not bothered by the lack of a perfect fit, I would recommend this.

Works great with my 2017 MacBook Air and you don't need a boot disk. I was able to install High Sierra directly onto the SSD over the internet. I have a Samsung 870 Evo 1 terabyte. Works great, no sleep or hibernation issues as some people have mentioned. Just take out the old crappy SSD and plug the new SSD into this adapter before wirelessly connecting it to the motherboard, then power it on and it will recover from the internet. Once that's all done, you'll have 5x or 10x more storage space,
