Complete junk. As many other reviews have pointed out, the keys provided only work after being inserted into the hole, after which the cord will not go through the lock once removed. It's basically a one-time use.

Nothing special, should last a long time. However, after multiple uses when unlocking, the internal mechanism does not always fully disengage. In this case, you cannot push the cable through. Pressing the lock open with a screwdriver works, but is not necessary.

Had to grind and bend the locking plate to fit through the cutout on my 45th Yeti, damn it, the handle almost broke and the lock piece no longer works after this free cable ! had to spend money on an original Yeti product there. more money but worth it. This product is crap. Too old to send the lesson back

Used on my new cooler, used for the first time and trying to unlock it to remove it from my truck , the lock does not open fully, cable is finally pulled out and can not be reinserted for reuse, buy another brand but do not waste money on it, it is impossible to contact the seller to try to get a replacement or refund receive

This locking system worked when I unboxed it, but when I first tried to use it with my cooler, I couldn't get the cord through the lock even though it was fully unlocked. Since then I've tried several times but to no avail. Each time I had to put the fridge in the truck cab to prevent it from being stolen. Don't waste your money on this product.

Item received and appears to have been previously returned/damaged as all the original zip ties in the packaging have already been cut. I tried picking the lock on the product and found the lock and cord just didn't work. Not the type to usually complain or even write reviews but obviously this company was trying to give me a faulty product on purpose. Extremely disappointed.

Very happy with the purchase. The radiator bracket has a good thickness so that it cannot be damaged. The only issue I had was having trouble getting the cable back into the lock after installation and I unlocked it to move the cooler. I had to move the key and press the lock cable at the same time. Shouldn't be a problem as I don't plan on moving the cooler often.

I had the same problem that others have mentioned getting a key to turn the lock. I found a solution. Either the key has a small burr or the lock tumbler is stuck. I couldn't turn the key until I pushed harder to get the key all the way into the lock. At the same time, he moved inward another 2-3 mm and rotates freely. I also sprayed lube through the keyhole to lubricate the mugs. I hope this helps those having the same locking issues. I just got the item in the mail today, so I can't comment…
