I love watches. I hate buying batteries too. So I decided to just buy kinetics or sundial. Now, years later, I have two kinetic watches and a double watch winder. But my six sundials posed a problem. Turn clothes inside out, put in window etc. Still not sure if they are all fully charged. It's a simple device and charge once a month --- the problem is solved. Well thought out, simple and relatively cheap. Recommended as a gift or for yourself!

I had an old watch, probably 10 years old and the battery just wouldn't charge, even for a few days in the window. This charger allowed me to fully charge my watch in just a few hours, and the stand is strong enough to hold the watch in place with ease. It only comes with a USB charging cable so I just plug it into my computer and it works fine. There's also room for an extra outlet or can be battery operated if I want it to be portable.

Bought this because I tried everything to charge my Gshock Steel series watch. I couldn't get it to charge enough to even set the time. I installed this light and put my watch on it and after an hour I was at least able to set the time. I'm really impressed with it. I will leave it charged for at least a day to get a full charge but I would say it's a great product and I would highly recommend it.

Awesome. Works like a charm if you ever give it. I've been told in watch repair shops that the solar panels in the box sometimes break if they don't work when taken outside. Replaced at least 4 solar panels for about $40 each. Was warned about this product and bought it. Relatively new watches (2) have died recently, a Citizen and a Seiko. I really hate it when reviewers unnecessarily criticize a product. Here is the actual operating temperature of this device when plugged into a USB port with NO BATTERIES INSTALLED. Alkaline batteries ARE NON-RECHARGEABLE AND MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE attempting to use USB power. As you can see, the LED array is well below body temperature during normal operation.
