I bought the black one a few years ago and the material was much nicer and lighter. It is heavier and thicker and therefore not suitable for hot climates. It looks like cheap polyester.

I love the look, feel and versatility of this scarf. Large enough to even be used as a skirt on my 5ft 8in 145lb frame. I ordered another one in black and plan to buy a few more in other colors and patterns.

This incredibly stylish scarf gives me quick sun protection when I'm driving or on any sunny day. It slides easily across my chest and shoulders, giving me quick, affordable sun protection that is sorely needed during our ever-increasing heatwaves. Yes and yes! I wore this to an outdoor wedding where there was no shade and I didn't want to burn myself. Can be twisted like a shawl or draped like a shawl. Looks elegant, doesn't look like an SPF product. Purchased for my recent trip to Ireland and Greece. It was cold in Ireland so the scarf worked great. I'm tall (5ft 8in) and burn easily so this was perfect for a beach in Greece too. Love this color (lavender), love the length. Large size for a shoulder wrap or shawl. My neck gets stiff when it's cold, so that helps. I can also cover my chest and arms in the car to keep warm and protect from sun allergies. Now I'll probably take more flowers. I wore this with the Coolibar Galene Swim Cape and it looks so good I could wear it to a cocktail party! The only thing I don't like is that it looks more finished on one side than the other. There is definitely a "front" and a "back".
