Super quality and quiet!

very good quality cases. They are thicker than ordinary pillowcases, very soft and quiet! I haven't tested it for water resistance yet. They are also packaged in a very nice box (which I wanted to keep). The only issue for me is that they are slightly larger than my king pillows so they are not as snug as I would like. However, this is not so important, since they appear to be of very high quality. We slept on them for about a week and they are great. I also didn't wash them before use (is that

Decent quality of pillowcases

I wouldn't call them 'silky'. In fact, it's quite difficult to get into the pillowcase. But they are beautiful and thick! However, I have noticed that they trap significant amounts of air. Therefore, fluffing pillows requires a lot of effort to fill them with air. And then they bubble or blow like an air mattress under your head while you hear the air slowly escaping. After the air has escaped, the pads appear to be soldered (harder) on the inside. It's a little odd and not my favorite for my…

Not for memory foam pillows but very thick and good quality

I also bought a set of adjustable memory foam pillows from Revain to check out. Spinal issues, pinched nerve in cervical spine and more. I bought them to protect them. The first night I lay down they made the pillow so hard I woke up with a flash. ** If you like a firm pillow, that would be great. If you want something softer or medium, choose something else. Very thick, good quality, only made my pillow so hard I thought the memory foam would soften when I lay down, but it didn't. Only buy if…

Sounds like lemonade: cushion covers

When I opened it, I immediately noticed the size. They are very big. I checked the box and my order to confirm they were indeed "standard". I have a fairly full pillow (I use My Pillow) and there was a lot of free space. They are soft to the touch and flexible which is a plus. I held it under water for a few seconds to make sure it was waterproof, which is what the packaging says. The main problem is that when I lie down, I feel like I'm leaning my ear on a can of soda. There should be…

Thick and durable case

It was a good buy. My pillows get dirty so easily when I sleep with two dogs. They make cleaning much easier. I can throw the cover in the wash and not wash the whole pillow. The zipper is closed to fully fit the pillow and stay clean. The material is quite dense, greasy spots on the body do not appear. I compared it to my king pillow (I have good sized pillowcases). They are great for long and medium king size pillows. The length is long enough for a king but I wish they were wider or had a…

Mixed feelings about sheets and pillowcases

Well, I have mixed feelings about these pillowcases. They are thick and appear to be of a much better quality than your average pillow protector. When they arrived I washed them and dried them on low heat and they were fine although they took longer to dry. Now the bad side is that the cool shield doesn't seem to be there at first. I have pretty decent pillows and have tried sleeping with and without a pillow protector and I have to say I sleep much more comfortably without a pillow protector…

Disappointing. for pillow protector

First, the surface material is not 100% Tencel. It is made of 30% Tencel and 70% Polyester. This is disappointing as I bought a latex pillow and percale pillowcases because they are breathable and I sleep hot. Polyester won't be cool. The inner lining is 100% Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) and feels very thin and fragile, but I have no comparison to that. It might be okay. The protector does not appear to be breathable. Most of the breathing happens through lightning. I also don't see any…

Works perfectly! fits sheets and pillowcases

I have a special needs child who is still in diapers. Sometimes the diaper leaks at night so I used my own supply of protective waterproof bedding. This is one of my best protective bedding purchases. The waterproof layer seems thicker than other protective pillowcases I've tried. When you lay the pillow down it actually keeps the air inside, which can be a good or bad thing, but when you lay down on the pillow the air just seems to go past the tiny hole where the zipper stops. This makes it…

Tangled with drying

Updated Post: These pillowcases are great quality and I think value for money. Although they shouldn't be dried on high heat - we dried them on low heat and they're fine. Original post: I bought these pillowcases in anticipation of all the good reviews. I've seen them thicker than just an allergy coating and I liked that they were cool and smooth. Waterproof would have been good as I've been known to drool at night. I thought I read and made sure that with these qualities they can also be…
