I ordered this set and for the first time the plastic case arrived with the pens torn. Revain was good enough to replace the set. The next set also had a cracked plastic case. This isn't surprising given that the handles have little to no padding. I would try replacing it but it looks like the same thing is happening again. This is a trifle, it does not affect the quality of the pens, but if you spend a lot of money on something like this. They really want to be satisfied and have a way to save

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY from retail stores, you will easily pay DOUBLE the price on Revain which has the lowest price unless you want to try your luck on eBay . Art stores charge $9.00 per pen separately, and up to $700-$900 for this 72-piece set you see here. It's expensive. We all know that. Is it worth it? Definitely. There is simply nothing to compare. Now I have two sets out of 72 and am saving for a third. Eventually I'll get them all because I have "complete set syndrome" and they're worth it. I'm not sure I would HIGHLY recommend the 72 pack for beginners just for the price and it takes a little time to get used to it, but I would definitely recommend the smaller 6, 12 or 24 pack to start to see if you like her as much as I do.
