Its outer part, which is in direct contact with the road surface, is made of a more elastic compound. It dampens shock from small bumps in the road, which ensures a smooth ride. In turn, the inner part of the tread is made of a harder rubber compound. It performs several functions at once. The most obvious of these is to provide better handling and directional stability at high speed. In addition, the inner tread layer significantly reduces rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on fuel efficiency.
Double breakerThe compound design also has a breaker located directly under the tread. Its outer part is made of nylon cord, and the inner part is made of steel. In both versions, spiral winding is used without any seams and joints. Such features provide the tire with several advantages at once. First of all, it is the ability to maintain its original shape under a significant impact of multidirectional acceleration forces. As a result, handling is improved, the car reacts much faster and more accurately to the actions of the driver. In addition, the double combination breaker significantly increases the protection of the tire against punctures and cuts.
3D computer simulation The tire was developed using 3D computer simulation.
