Beautiful, functional but unfortunately not shockproof

I love Corelle and have bought a large number of bowls and plates in different sizes. They are wonderful on the table. The problem is they aren't shockproof as the reputation claims. Just a large liter bowl slipped off the counter, fell on the floor and splintered into hundreds of small pieces ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Pretty nice aside from the price

This is absolutely the best option for large salads or huge fruit bowls. The price is ridiculous but worth it if you never drop it. It will shatter into a thousand pieces. They can also be washed in the dishwasher. If you want to be extra fancy, you can even buy a bowl lid in case you can't finish the whole salad. Just close the lid and toss your baby in the fridge. Light.

Excellent Quality Corelle Serving Bowl and MUCH MORE!

This 1 liter Corelle Winter Frost White serving bowl is perfect for garnishing mashed potatoes, corn, green beans etc. The color is perfect as it matches my other Corelle cookware which is perfect ! This is perfect for a small garnish bowl, but below I list the many OTHER uses I've found for this bowl: 1) Soup or stew for one hungry eater or two average eaters - (I'm a HUGE eater). As I love to eat homemade soups and stews, this is the perfect bowl for both microwave and eating. It's prettyโ€ฆ
