This 1 liter Corelle Winter Frost White serving bowl is perfect for garnishing mashed potatoes, corn, green beans etc. The color is perfect as it matches my other Corelle cookware which is perfect ! This is perfect for a small garnish bowl, but below I list the many OTHER uses I've found for this bowl: 1) Soup or stew for one hungry eater or two average eaters - (I'm a HUGE eater). As I love to eat homemade soups and stews, this is the perfect bowl for both microwave and eating. It's pretty funny, but I'm a small person with a big appetite, so this bowl gives me a BIG bowl of soup or stew. 2) Chef's Salad or Taco Salad for one hungry eater or two average eaters - there's a large portion in this bowl. This bowl offers plenty of room for one person and this bowl showcases salads because of its wide top shape. 3) popcorn. So I like to eat popcorn while watching TV. This bowl is perfect for popcorn! 4) Leftovers - This is the right size bowl if you have leftovers from last night's dinner, as these will become lunch the next day. 5) How to cover this microwavable bowl: I place a medium plate (bread-and-butter plate) and a large Corelle dining table face down. Great coverage and savings on paper towels, wax paper or cling film. I also have a Winter Frost White 2 liter Corelle bowl and use it to bring good luck to dinner with garnishes. More than 2 liters is more for a family of 4-8 people, while 1 liter is better for example 2-3 people who are average eaters to use as a serving bowl. Highly recommend this serving bowl.
