Fits R317 pads but not the spring

So the pads work - at least after a short ride on my street. But to mount the pin on an old Sora Road disc brake caliper (Br-R317) I had to use old spring bars. The spring bar that came with the new pads didn't allow the pin to go all the way. I will update this review if there are any updates on pad wear.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Secret

Only buy Shimano parts

It's a problem when a parts company (Corki) tries to make one part for dozens of different brakes. This part should fit my Shimano BR-M615 brakes. THAT DOES NOT FIT. The spring between the pads was too wide, 1/32 to 1/16 inch. It sounds so small but I've tried and tried to fit it but to no avail. I pay $5 to return the $12 portion for a refund. No, but maybe I can spare future buyers the frustration I experienced. There is satisfaction in that.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good OEM replacement (price + quality)

I have a Yuba Mundo electric cargo bike and I'm a tall person so my brake pads wear out faster than the average rider. These $10 (semimetal!) spacers strike a good balance of price and quality. I can buy OEM (resin!) Shimano pads at my local bike shop for $10, so these corki pads are about half the price of the "best" pads. Quality may not be as good as OEM semi-metal pads, but I've had virtually no glazing or noise with these corki pads (while I've ALWAYS had this problem with $10 four-pair…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Very expensive

Less responsive, louder than the original Shimano pads

Having used Shimano G01S Resin Pads twice on my e-bike in Shimano Deore BR-M615 hydraulic brakes, I bought them a few weeks ago, I couldn't find Original Shimano online and my bike shop didn't have them either. I am very disappointed with these resin pads. They're a lot louder (Shimano was almost silent) and I've lost a lot of my ability to fine-tune stopping power. These pads seem to grab the brake disc quite hard and suddenly. I'll wait a little longer to see if they need "temporarily braked"

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Fairly good
