🚲 Corki Universal Bike Shifter Cable Housing Set compatible with Shimano and Sram Derailleur Review

My first cable installation. I used my cutting pliers and they worked great. The case is long enough for ONLY 1 switch, front or back with 1 pack. Very satisfied!

This is not made by Shimano. The quality is doubtful. The cable jacket has a smaller diameter. The end caps are plastic, not metal. Works and fits. The price corresponds to the universal kit. But will it continue.

Got this for a 2009 Bianchi Volpe overhaul. It's a good case and the cables seem ok, but they don't provide enough case to get the job done! Super disappointed I didn't even waste anything and went out anyway.

Good quality cables and bodies but include enough bodies to reach a cruise bike rear derailleur. If my bike had a derailleur, I would have to buy a second set. I would recommend measuring the overall length of the case before ordering to avoid being disappointed.

This kit fits my bike perfectly and is pretty easy to install. Individual cuts and pre-assembled cable sheathing are easy to process and do not cause any installation problems. The twist grip fits my handlebars perfectly and has a nice shift profile. Some fine tuning is required after repair to even out the shift pattern, but a little patience and you should be able to get it right.

As mentioned here, the cable housing was not long enough. It's hard for me to understand. They provide a cable of sufficient length, but the cable housing is too short. What's wrong with this picture? I have a Giant escape bike that was 40" shorter than the body, but the cable itself was long enough. It seems to me that someone is trying to save pennies by not supplying enough housing materials. Very disappointing!

Good set and lots of accessories. I love all color options. Everything is installed as it should and like most other manufacturers. Looks good installed. The cables are more than long enough, so. Why is there a lack of housing? I ride a large mountain bike and needed about 2ft more body to cover the rear derailleur section and leave enough slack in the other cable. Message seller to add more living space.

This kit includes everything you need for both the front and rear derailleur. apart from an adequate cable sleeve. It comes with over 13 feet of cord. why on earth does it only come with a 6 foot cable? SO DISAPPOINTED! I waited for it to arrive instead of going to the local bike shop. Just note that depending on the cable routing system on your bike, you may need to purchase two of these kits to have enough external cables to completely replace the front and rear derailleurs.
