This one is about as long as the first one, but the holes aren't drilled as far down the belt as the other one, so we had to make another one ourselves. However, it is a good alternative to cowhide. Good belt. Good quality material. Hasn't split (yet) and I've been wearing it for a few months now. The buckle is of excellent quality, but her "jaw" (where she bites the belt) opens about 3 times a week. Easy to put back on and clamp. When I received the belt it was exactly what I wanted and would have given it 5 stars but after a few months I had had an issue with the reverse buckle mechanism and was disappointed as it was well outside the return window. I contacted the seller and he sent me a replacement buckle very quickly and now I am fully satisfied with the belt again. This belt is fantastic. I just have to come up with a buckle so I can wear it. If you want a belt that is functional and not just for show then this isn't the one. The part that closes on the belt pops out every time I sit down. I have a small stomach and this belt will not make me forget.
