Bought to replace a 20 year old who ended up cracking too much. Definitely not the same heavy quality and significantly more expensive. However, it works well, is easy to clean and has a large size.

This is Corningware and its quality and durability is always on my list. And of course it goes with everything. Cooks / bakes in the oven and immediately on the table. Easy to clean.

These all-purpose bowls (serving or storing) are well made and have a classic design. We bought them to replace Corningware shells of the same model that wore out in just 28 years. I'm glad to see they still make them.

I am very disappointed. The product description states that it comes with (2) 16-ounce bowls and (2) plastic lids. However, I only received 2 bowls. There were no plastic caps in the package. The main reason I bought these bowls is because they had to come with plastic lids, making them perfect for storing leftovers.

I already had one of these and use them for absolutely everything so I bought this set of 2 because I wanted more. They are perfect for thick soups, stews, pasta, ice cream, etc. You can take chilled food to work with the lid closed and then simply reheat it for lunch. I've been using these clothing covered bowls from Corning to take food to work for almost 30 years. They seal well and keep food fresh. When I make dinner and eat something else, I usually put the leftovers in one of these bowls, snap the lid off, and pop it in the freezer. I received two plates and two lids as in the photo. I am not sure if this is a genuine Corning Ware product. I am very familiar with Corning Ware, I have a few of these dishes from years ago as well as many other items. The bowls were packaged in brown paper, not the original Corning packaging. The bottom of one was badly scratched. white is gone. Don't be fooled into thinking this is actually a Corning Ware product. The size is excellent. Bought for my husband for work. I'm glad I tried them with custard first.
