These bottles are very nice until summer comes. If the house gets warmer than about 75° or the sun shines on it, the pump starts to drip. Of the 4 I have, 3 made porridge, 2 of which were shampoo and a lotion. They weren't full and leak even when almost empty. Definitely not recommended for travel.

I purchased Cornucopia Brands 4 oz Amber Glass Pump Bottles to add birch oil (with carrier oil) to make it easier for me to use and no need to mix. Daily. That works fine. I had trouble pumping, but the Cornucopia site showed me how to get it working. I still couldn't get it to work with just my fingers, but I carefully used pliers and it did the trick. I am very happy with the bottle.

We keep our oils (for face and body) in these and they are phenomenal. Have dropped and switched to the dropper bottles and am pleased to report that the pumps are working as advertised. We've bottled "medium duty" oils (Red Raspberry, Camellia, and Theraplex Seed Oils), but I think even motor oil will work for these beasts as well. The price is right and the quality is A+. We recommend. Makes life easier.

I wish the company had a little indication of this and not just an arrow on top of the pump. I turned in the direction of the arrow and the pumps wouldn't come off until I finally tried screwing the caps onto the bottles. THEN they worked!

This is amazing! I first bought them for my sweet almond oil which I use in literally almost everything for skincare like body moisturizer and makeup remover. Because sweet almond oil needs UV protection, it has to be in an amber jar, and the one from the store is literally too big to look ridiculously ugly on my bathroom counter. I make my own antiaging face and neck oil blend using only base oils and essential oils. The result is a flimsy product that I tried to recycle a former 4 ounce essential oil bottle with an application dropper.
