Heatsink is blocking my PCI Express connector

I wanted to connect it to my new X570 motherboard. Unfortunately the heatsink on it is so big that it prevents my 2nd PCI-E x16 port from being used. Had to go back because I'd rather use 2 GPUs than this one! This radiator is BIG!

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • No performance

Works with PS5 Good for storage

Easy to install. It fits the PS5, but there's a catch: the PS5's aluminum expansion slot cover touches the top of the heatsink, but that's no big deal. The amount of memory is as declared and the read/write speed is really fast.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Dead after 15 minutes

Looks like a solid product, feels rather heavy in the hand. I was able to copy the files to the hard drive and it was quick. Unfortunately, it became a memory when he died after 15 minutes of use. My computer suddenly gave an error, after that it doesn't show up on any computer or case I've tried. That's terrible money for 15 minutes of happiness ...

Super fast ride! (Firmware update)

The only downside is that the stock cooler is difficult to fit into the system unless you remove it and use the NVME cooler on motherboards. My board had an area where I could just remove the motherboard NVME cooler and use that. Also, the drive is faster if you go to the Corsair website and download the Corsair SSD Toolkit. It has a firmware update feature that helped me get the advertised speeds after using it. A really solid performer at the moment.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

I bought this Corsair NVMe drive with an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard. It works well in Gen3 PCIe x4 mode. It works well in Gen4 PCIe x2 mode. It does not work in Gen4 PCIe x4 mode. Corsair's solution is to either update the firmware (which is undesirable) or perform a secure erase until all four tracks are used up. This is unacceptable. I may have to return this product to Revain as it may not work as advertised.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Received used although I ordered a new one.

(I blame Corsair here, not Revain) I bought a Corsair mp 510 240GB M2 NVME drive from Amazon. It arrived yesterday and I incorporated it into my existing build. However, after I started my computer and went to Disk Management to partition it, I see that for some reason this new disk already has a partition and it's called "reservado para el sistema". It seems to me that this thing was already used on another computer and Windows was installed for a computer in Mexico. I bought a brand newโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High-speed Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 interface: With PCIe Gen4 technology for maximum throughput, the MP600 delivers incredible storage performance.
Cons
  • Reliability

WORKS FOR ADVERTISING AND SOLVING RADIATOR PROBLEMS

Product works as advertised. I have a Gigabyte X570-I-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-10#kfItx board and had to remove the original heatsink to install it in the main nvme slot. Yes, the heatsink is bulky and the Gigabyte appears to have their own copper clad version that actually fits. Overheats and slows down without a case. So I bought this from Amazon: M.2 Copper Heatsink, m2 pcie NVMe Laptop Copper Heatsink with Silicone Thermal Pad, for M.2 2280 SSD Laptop. After installing this thing I get the speeds

Pros
  • M.2 2280 form factor: Fits directly onto the motherboard.
Cons
  • Empty

PCIe Gen 4 Budget Premium

At the time of purchase (I was one of the lucky ones who pre-ordered before the page was removed) the most expensive PCIe Gen 3 drives were priced right for this drive. So it was very nice of Corsair to get PCIe Gen 4 speed at no extra cost. I have two of these in RAID 0 on an MSI X570 Ace motherboard. The resulting 2TB RAID 0 drive is then split into two volumes: a 450GB partition for the operating system (Windows 10 64bit Home) and the remaining space is a volume where I install the things Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High Density 3D TLC NAND: Offers the perfect combination of performance, durability, and value to keep your drive running at peak efficiency for years.
