ALIENWARE R9 USERS READ THIS/HUMINAL NOISE FIX

If you have Alienware, DO NOT buy H80. It doesn't fit no matter what you do. The braided cables are too thick and the PSU won't close even if one of the top fans is removed. Got Best Buy's H60 instead and it worked beautifully. Keep in mind that the H60 that Amazon sells is NOT an updated version, the new one has a square design, no LEDs and a thinner profile, the pump is quieter. The fan on the H60 is a real junk so I replaced it with a silent Noctua fan and it's a dream cooler, very quiet and

Excellent, but with a major design flaw

I've used several different versions of these Corsair coolers and they all work great. I regularly get 6th and 7th gen Intel i7 and i5 processors at at least 4.8GHz, 100% stress tested and stable. Typical peak temperatures after 24 hours at 100% load are in the upper 60 degrees Celsius range. Now the downside, and it's important. Check the motherboard for capacitors located in this box which has holes in it to support the heatsink. If you have condensers in that range and have LOTS of…

  • LED Pump Head: The white LED pump head adds a touch of flair to any system. Fan Airflow 57.2 cfm. Noise level 28.3 dBA

H80i V2 big but great cooling

Let me start by saying I've always been skeptical about buying water cooling. I've heard too many horror stories ranging from "The pump broke and my CPU is overheating" to "It was leaking and leaking all over my GPU". Well I tried my best with air cooling before finally giving up and going with water cooling. Corsair had the best reviews so I went with them. After installing my water cooler I found that this is not the tool advertised. You will need at least a Phillips screwdriver. Pros:…

Awesome GPU Cooler

I bought with NZXT Kraken G12 to replace Gigabyte 1080 TI Black Edition 3 fan heatsink. The black output was not developed in favor of the 1080 TI, I reached 80 Β° C after a few hours of gaming. I would start at around 72C and gradually work my way up to 80C after around 2 hours of play. I just couldn't handle it as the card I had before, the 1070, stayed at or below 68C depending on my custom fan curve via MSI Afterburner and it was MSI's dual fan design as well as lots of big fans. I also…

Avoid the 2018 H75 redesign, it's CRAFTS, let me tell you why.

I'm pretty sure Corsair is running a contest among their staff to see who can come up with the worst design for this 2018 H75 model. Joking aside this is just a nightmare I don't even know where to start I'm so upset. Firstly the supplied fan screws are too short (I have 2 older model H75 units and I left the screws to each other and of course the old screws are about 1/16 inch longer. But that makes all the difference because the new ones have the thread not reached so they were useless see it

  • Fans & Cooling
Cons
  • Long Lead Time
