Don't use it for webcams

We tried to use this to extend the webcam from the classroom computer. Big mistake because it SLOWED him DOWN. The delay was unbearable. Shouldn't have bought it for this purpose.

As advertised! the best in computer accessories and peripherals

My wife bought a miniature tree to use as a Christmas decoration. The lights are powered by a USB cable that is only 5 feet long. Our nearest exit was too far away. I bought these USB extenders and they worked as they should. I'm a happy customer!

Good USB 2.0 Extension Cable

I used these cables to extend the YI camera power cables. They work great and can transfer data (tested on my Xbox 360 controller first). While gold connectors don't improve digital signals, they do make them more valuable. I would suggest if you're looking to expand a device that needs more power or higher transfer speeds, use a USB 3.0 extension instead of USB 2.0 (like this one).

Does not work as an extender for USB printer

How to use this excellent USB printer cable: Printer Cable, SNANSHI USB 2.0 USB Printer Cable, Type A Male Type B Male Scanner Cable Printers for HP, Canon, Lexmark, Epson, Dell, Xerox, Samsung etc. 25ft (8 meters) and 25ft weren't enough for my application so I bought them as extension cords. Neither package worked, and my system didn't even see the printer anymore. These cables are back.

Don't buy for a printer.

I haven't had problems with loose connectors like others, but they don't work with my HP printer. Some of the data goes through, but the printer freezes and thinks, and eventually prints garbage. USB2 has a length limit, but other cables were not the same length. (I don't daisy chain them, just use one. And I've checked EVERY other component in the daisy chain, so it's definitely that cable.) Works Perfect, Fits Exactly, Transfers Data Fast, Good Quality Cable

I use these to extend my laptop's external Wi-Fi antenna as I am getting a signal from a neighbor's house. The signal in my bedroom was pretty weak even with an external antenna connected but it only came with a 30 inch cable (1st photo) then I plugged in this Costyle USB extender and ran the cable along my wall and led across the room to the window and hung an antenna in my window overlooking my landlord's house and WOW increased my speed (2nd photo).
