For $17 I wasn't expecting much. Maybe a plastic sticker that looks like a screen print that will crack and peel over time, but I really wanted this dress so I took a chance. Neat stitching, soft cotton, thin but thick enough not to wrinkle like fabric or show through. Battenburg style thick gold braid/lace trimming, red cape on back. Doesn't gather as much as a circle skirt, but still wraps up enough. In the picture it looks like the blue with stars is an overskirt over a red base, but what you actually see is a red cape hanging behind the dress; The body of the dress is blue with white stars and a red bodice. Update: I bought 4 of these dresses: Rapunzel, Elana, The Incredibles and Tinkerbell. Rapunzel and Incredibles' dresses may be 100% cotton, but Tinkerbell and Elana's dresses appear to be a blend of cotton and polyester. The quality corresponds to the price.
