The quality does not meet expectations, I will not buy any more.

Different pros: Came whole, all cables were neatly tied, delivery took 1 day. With its cons. They sent the wrong block. I needed a VTE500 model, with a bronze certificate, but XTC500 came, without a certificate. The difference in price is small, but still unpleasant.

It was a bad idea to buy it, the money was wasted.

Trust in cougar has been lost, what to do with it is not clear, because in fact the bp does not work, but they don’t see any defects in the online trading site where I took it ! Different pros: At the time of purchase, the cheapest (albeit oem) PSU for 500 watts with a bronze certificate and a modern dc-dc conversion circuit. famous brand With its cons. Refuses to work on ryzen systems. When turned on, the valves twitch, and that's it. I sinned on a short circuit on my mother, changed the board

Quiet, modern power supply

Really very quiet in normal operation, which is great. I also like the fact that it offers all the ports you need for a modern PC, plus a couple of old-school Molexes for old-school hardware.

  • Finally bought

I like it! best in computer components

To be honest, I'm a bit biased. My last tower and power supply was also a Cougar. I've never had a problem with them and they still work great. So when I bought my new non PS Cougar case I saw a good price on this one. I didn't hesitate. It works great in my new tower now and I expect it will continue to do so for years to come. Like my predecessor.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • For old

So far, so good! in Computers and Accessories

This is a 500w PSU only. My graphics cards don't need a 6-pin power connector, so that's enough. My new computer is very quiet. The fans on the case are very large, you can't hear anything from the case. Therefore, the power supply must also be very quiet. I'm happy.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Expensive

DOA internals

Well I can't say much, they refunded my money but I've never had a NEW part that was dead instantly. I would NOT recommend this power supply and if you get one, test it before installing it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Good quality, perfect fit. not so quiet

Many power supplies are praised for their power and performance, so I've added additional quietness criteria. This Cougar was advertised as being quiet, but upon installation it turned out to be just as loud as my old PSU.

Pros
  • comfortable
Cons
  • sporadically
