The size in the product description confused me a lot as I couldn't tell if it would fit my bread or someone else's. I use large Amish White bread pans. The pans are 12 inches long and 5.5 inches wide and make an actual loaf (be large or don't bake it). Nothing in the description helped me know if they would match my bread. These pockets are long enough for a heavy 12x4 Wilton loaf pan. My loaves are 2# for baking, they are large and 12" long. . There is plenty of room to rotate the top. These bags lose stars because of the material they are made from. The plastic is crumpled, almost like cellophane, and doesn't curl as well as the softer plastic found in store-bought bags that hold bread. They were bigger than I needed but the price is great. I wouldn't use it for freezing due to this type of plastic. I always wrap twice in cling film, then foil, then paper and definitely the label so it creates an airtight package when frozen. Someone raised the issue before.
